Price | 35.00 |
Description | Antique Flowered Plate - Aristocrat Imperial Ware: The Sebring Pottery Co. of Ohio made this plate in the early 1930's. The pattern is called "Toledo Delight" and the shape is referred to as "Trojan". Traditional and over 80 years old, the plate is 10 1/2" (or 26cm) in diameter. Since it has 2 side flares, it appears to be a serving piece as opposed to a dinner plate. There is some discoloration and significant crazing around the center design but no chips nor cracks, and the wear only serves to remind the owner of its ripe old age. The back bears the stamp of "Aristocrat Imperial Ware" and "22 carat gold warrented" and the plate is suitable for placing on a stand to sit on a table or hanging on a wall as a decoration if not used as a serving platter. A piece from a Victorian afternoon tea, waiting for a new home. A valuable collector's antique, waiting to be yours. Shipping and handling is included in the price |
